What the book is about
Stick Control for the Drum set was written by Mitchell Peters. It is a technique book directed toward elementary readers for developing basic control and utilization on a set of drums. The book uses mainly triplet patterns around the drum set to help the drummer/student gain flexibility and a larger vocabulary for improvising or doing fill-ins. It also challenged the drummer to perform different sticking variations throughout the book.
My Opinion on Stick Control for the Drum Set
This is a pretty good book. It is very similar to the other famous books that he made called “Around the Drums with Triplets” If you are having trouble with triplets, then you should probably get this book along with two other ones.
